Can I rent a porta potty for a home remodel or septic repair?
Yes. Homeowners in Hobbs rent a porta potty while a bathroom is remodeled, a septic tank or sewer line is repaired, or a new house is built on the lot. Rentals longer than a week bill per 28 days with weekly cleaning included, and you can end the rental any time.
Shorter projects of 7 days or less, like a window replacement or a one-week bathroom tile job, use our short-rental price instead of a monthly rate.
How does 28-day porta potty billing work?
Monthly porta potty rentals bill every 28 days. The first cycle includes a one-time delivery and pickup charge, so it costs more than later cycles. Every cycle includes four weekly services. You pay at the start of each cycle by card, and billing stops the day you ask for pickup.
| Cycle | What you pay | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| Cycle 1 (days 1–28) | Unit rate + one delivery and pickup charge | Delivery, 4 weekly services, toilet paper, sanitizer |
| Cycle 2 and later | Unit rate only | 4 weekly services and supplies |
| Final cycle | Unit rate, billing stops the day you call for pickup | Pickup within 1 business day |
A 28-day cycle means 13 cycles in a year instead of 12 calendar months. We say so upfront so the yearly total is never a surprise. See monthly rates.
Where should a porta potty go at my house?
At a house, a porta potty goes on a level spot in the driveway, beside the garage or at the side of the yard, within about 30 feet of where the service truck parks. Keep it off septic lids, sprinkler heads and soft lawn. A gate must be at least 4 feet wide for backyard placement.
- Face the door toward the house or fence for privacy.
- Give the HOA or neighbors a heads-up if your street has rules.
- For a septic failure, keep the unit clear of the work area so the excavator can get in.
Is a unit with a sink worth it for a home project?
A unit with a sink inside is worth it when the porta potty is your family's only toilet for more than a few days. It adds a foot-pump sink with fresh water and soap, so nobody walks back into the house to wash. Contractors-only units usually do fine with sanitizer.
See the sink unit specs.
Can I use a porta potty while living in an RV during a home build?
Yes. Families living in an RV on their lot during a build often rent a standard unit or a sink unit serviced weekly. The porta potty takes pressure off the RV holding tank. We do not pump RV black tanks or septic systems; a licensed septic pumper handles those.
Questions people ask before booking
Can I rent a porta potty for one week while my bathroom is redone?
Yes. Rentals of 7 days or less use the short-rental price with delivery and pickup included. Ask for one mid-week cleaning if the whole family is using it.
What if my project runs longer than planned?
Nothing to do. The rental rolls into the next 28-day cycle automatically. Call or text to end it whenever you are done.
Do I have to call to end the rental, or will you just pick it up?
Please text or call. We never pick up a unit someone may still need, and billing stops on the day you ask.
My septic tank collapsed. How fast can you get me a porta potty?
Call by 1 p.m. for same-day delivery in Hobbs. Outside Hobbs, see the same-day cutoff for your town.
Can I skip weekly cleaning to save money?
Weekly service is part of the monthly rate and keeps the unit usable. For a unit used only on weekends, we can set service for Monday so it is fresh for the week.
Do you pump RV holding tanks or septic tanks?
No. We service only our own portable toilets and hand-wash stations. A licensed septic company handles RV tanks and septic systems.
