Delivery and timing
How soon can you deliver a porta potty?
Same day in Hobbs when you call by 1 p.m. Mountain, Monday through Saturday. Other towns have earlier cutoffs listed on our same-day page. Calls after the cutoff are first on the next morning's route.
Is it too late to get a porta potty for tomorrow?
Usually not. Next-day orders can be placed until 7 p.m. the night before for most towns we serve, and you can ask for the first stop of the morning.
Can you have it there before my event starts at 2 p.m.?
Yes. Event units are delivered the day before, so the unit is in place well before guests arrive. If it has to be same-day, call early and we book a morning window.
What time will the driver arrive?
You get a two-hour delivery window when you book, and the driver texts about 30 minutes before arriving. Exact minutes depend on the live route.
Do I need to be there for delivery?
No. Mark the spot, leave the gate open or share the code, and the driver texts a photo of the placed unit.
Can the driver call me so I can show them where to put it?
Yes. Add a note when you book and the driver calls when close instead of only texting.
Can you deliver to a site with no street address?
Yes. Text a GPS pin dropped on the exact spot, plus the lease or property name and any gate code.
Are you a local company?
Yes. Connor Rental Works is owned by Connor and runs from Hobbs. The person who answers is local, and our own trucks deliver and service every unit.
Do you deliver outside Hobbs?
Yes. We deliver to towns up to about 80 miles out, including Lovington, Eunice, Jal, Tatum, Carlsbad, Artesia, Seminole, Andrews, Denver City and Kermit. See all service areas.
How far ahead should I book?
Two or three days is enough for most weekends. Book 2 to 3 weeks ahead for holiday weekends and Lea County Fair week, and 3 to 6 weeks for a restroom trailer.
Weekends and holidays
Do you deliver on weekends?
We deliver Monday through Saturday. Units for Saturday or Sunday events arrive on Friday so they are ready early.
If you deliver Friday and pick up Monday, does it cost more?
No. One event price covers up to 5 days on site, so the extra days cost nothing.
When is pickup after a holiday weekend?
The first business day after the holiday, usually Tuesday.
Can I have the unit picked up the same night as my event?
Yes, for an added fee shown on your quote. Most customers keep it until the next business day at no charge.
Can I get a porta potty on a holiday?
Call or text before the holiday. We deliver the day before so you have it on the holiday itself.
Price and payment
How much does a porta potty rental cost?
A standard unit starts at $175 for an event or short job with delivery and pickup in Lea County, and $165 per 28 days on a monthly rental plus a one-time $65 delivery and pickup. See the pricing guide.
Does the price include delivery and pickup?
Event prices include both. Monthly rentals show one delivery and pickup line in the first 28-day cycle only.
Is tax included?
Tax is its own line on every quote: New Mexico gross receipts tax or Texas sales tax, based on the delivery address.
Do you add a fuel surcharge or card fee?
No. The quote is the total, with no fuel, card or environmental fees added later.
Can you text or email me a written quote?
Yes. Every quote goes out by text or email, itemized, so you can show it to a spouse, pastor, boss or sponsor before you book.
Why do you need my address for a price?
Price depends on distance, and Lea County is flat-rate while other counties have a distance line. A ZIP code is enough for a ballpark; the full address is needed only to book.
What payment do you take?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover through a secure text link, so you never read your card number aloud. Approved business accounts can pay by invoice or check.
Do I need to put down a deposit?
No deposit. Event rentals are paid when booked; monthly rentals are paid at the start of each cycle.
Do you have discounts?
Churches, schools and nonprofits get 10 percent off event units, and 5 or more units on one order get 10 percent off the unit rate.
Can the bill go to someone else, like my company or church?
Yes. The billing contact and the delivery address can be different; we send the invoice wherever you tell us.
Rental length and billing
Is the price per day?
No. One event price covers up to 5 days on site. Rentals over 7 days bill per 28 days.
Can I rent a porta potty for just a few hours?
There is no hourly rate. The event price covers the day before through the next business day, so a few hours costs the same as a weekend.
How does the 28-day billing cycle work?
Monthly rentals bill every 28 days with four weekly services included. The first cycle includes delivery and pickup; later cycles are the unit rate only.
What happens if I keep it longer than planned?
It rolls into the next 28-day cycle automatically. Text us whenever you want it picked up.
Will I be charged for another cycle if I ask for pickup before it starts?
No. Billing stops on the day you ask for pickup, even if the truck picks it up a day later.
Can I rent seasonally, for example May through November?
Yes. Seasonal units bill per 28 days only while they are on site, with weekly service.
Cleaning and servicing
How often is a porta potty cleaned?
Monthly rentals are serviced once a week on a fixed day. Busy units in summer heat can add a second weekly visit.
What does a service visit include?
The tank is pumped, the seat, urinal, floor and walls are cleaned and sanitized, toilet paper and sanitizer are restocked, and fresh deodorizer is added.
Does an event rental get cleaned during my event?
Event units arrive sanitized and stocked and do not need service for a 1- or 2-day event. Multi-day events can add a mid-event visit for $45.
Can I add an extra cleaning?
Yes. Text us and we add a service visit, usually within one business day, for $45.
My site is only used some days. Can service match that?
Yes. Tell us your work days and we schedule the weekly visit on a day the site is open.
Can you pump porta potties I own or rent from another company?
No. We service only our own units, so we know their condition and can stand behind the service.
Do you pump RV holding tanks or septic tanks?
No. A licensed septic pumping company handles RV tanks and septic systems.
Units and features
What's inside a standard porta potty?
A seat, a urinal, a hand-sanitizer dispenser, two rolls of toilet paper, a mirror, a coat hook, a vent stack and an inside lock.
Do you have porta potties with a sink inside?
Yes. Sink units have a foot-pump sink with fresh water, soap and towels inside the same small footprint.
Is the sink inside or outside the unit?
On sink units, it is inside. Hand-wash stations are separate two-sink stands placed next to the toilets. Trailer-mounted units can have an outside sink.
Do you have flushing porta potties?
Yes. Flushing units rinse the bowl with fresh water by foot pump and handle about 150 flushes per fill.
Do you have handicap or ADA units?
Yes. Our wheelchair-accessible units have a ground-level floor, grab bars and room for a 60-inch turning circle. See accessible units.
Do you rent restroom trailers?
Yes. Two-stall to four-stall trailers with flushing toilets, running water, lights and AC. See restroom trailers.
Do restroom trailers need water and power?
Yes: a standard 20-amp outlet and a garden hose. Without them, we quote a generator and fresh-water tank.
Can I get a lock for the unit?
Yes, a combination lock is free on request.
Can you send photos of the units?
Yes. Ask when you get your quote, or see real photos on our units page.
How many units
How many porta potties do I need for 100 guests?
Two for a 4-hour event, three for 6 hours, four for 8 hours, plus one more if alcohol is served. Try the calculator.
How many porta potties for a crew of 25?
OSHA's minimum is 1 unit with a seat and urinal for 21 to 40 workers. With weekly service, we recommend 3 units for 25 workers.
Is one unit enough for a small crew?
Yes for up to 10 workers with weekly service.
Should I get a 2-stall or 3-stall trailer for 80 guests?
A two-stall trailer covers about 100 guests at a 5-hour event. Choose three stalls if there is a bar or the event runs past 6 hours.
Can I add units later if my guest list grows?
Yes. Text us by Wednesday for a weekend event and we add them to the same delivery.
Placement and access
Can a porta potty go in my backyard?
Yes, through a gate at least 4 feet wide on a firm path, within about 30 feet of where the truck can park.
Can it go on a slope?
A gentle slope is fine; a steep one is not. The unit must sit level so it does not rock or tip.
Can it go on concrete next to a building?
Yes. Concrete pads are a good spot as long as the service truck can reach within about 30 feet.
Can I move the unit myself after delivery?
Small moves are fine if it stays upright and within the truck's reach. Tell us where it went. Damage from moving it is billed at repair cost.
Will the unit blow over in Hobbs wind?
Not when anchored. We stake or strap units on open ground and face doors away from the prevailing wind.
What if my gate is locked on service day?
Share the code or a key location. If we are locked out, you get a text and we return once the gate is open.
Do you damage lawns or driveways?
Drivers stay on hard surfaces when possible. We are not responsible for tire marks on soft lawns after rain or for unmarked sprinkler lines, so point out anything we should avoid.
Who is responsible if the unit is vandalized in a public park?
The renter covers vandalism, theft and fire damage. Placing units in a lit or fenced area and using a lock prevents most problems.
Construction and oilfield
Do you do recurring monthly rentals for builders?
Yes. Builders put several units on one account, with one invoice per cycle and units moved as houses finish.
Can you deliver to a lease pad?
Yes, by GPS pin, with the lease name and gate code.
Can a unit follow our rig or crew?
Yes. Trailer-mounted units tow with a 2-inch ball. Text the new pin before service day.
Do you provide hand-wash stations for crews?
Yes, two-sink stations refilled on every service visit.
Can you invoice with a PO or AFE number?
Yes. Add it when you book and it appears on every invoice.
What OSHA rules apply to job-site toilets?
Construction follows 29 CFR 1926.51; farm field crews follow 1928.110. Read our plain-English OSHA guide.
Events, parties and church
Can I rent one porta potty for a birthday party?
Yes. One standard unit covers about 50 guests at a 4-hour party.
Do you rent for church events and fish fries?
Yes, with 10 percent off for churches. Add a hand-wash station when food is served.
Can I rent for a wedding?
Yes: standard and sink units for ranch weddings, or a restroom trailer for formal ones.
Are event units nicer than construction units?
Event units are kept for events only and are the newest in our yard.
Can I rent for a public event with a city permit?
Yes. We size units to your permit or venue requirements, including accessible units per ADA 213.2.
Do you rent for funerals, graduations and reunions?
Yes. These are booked like any event, delivered the day before.
Home projects and emergencies
Can I rent a porta potty while my bathroom is remodeled?
Yes. Short projects use the event price; longer ones bill per 28 days with weekly cleaning.
My septic tank collapsed. Can I get a porta potty today?
Yes in Hobbs when you call by 1 p.m., and on the same day in most nearby towns with an earlier call.
Our store's sewer line broke. Can you help today?
Yes. A unit with a sink or a unit plus hand-wash station keeps staff and customers covered until repairs are done.
Our church's water is off. What should we rent?
Usually one sink unit, or a standard unit plus a hand-wash station, for each 50 people expected at services.
Do you supply shelters during fires or storms?
Yes, with restroom trailers, standard and accessible units and hand-wash stations, serviced daily. Call with the headcount.
We're living in an RV during a home build. What should we get?
A standard or sink unit serviced weekly takes pressure off the RV's holding tank.
Changes, cancellation and pickup
Can I change my delivery date after booking?
Yes, free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before delivery for a full refund. Inside 24 hours, a $65 trip charge applies once the truck is loaded.
Can I add a sink or hand-wash station after booking?
Yes, up to the day before delivery, on the same truck.
How do I schedule pickup?
Call or text the number on your invoice. Billing stops that day and pickup follows within one business day.
Do you pick up automatically at the end date?
Event units are picked up automatically on the scheduled day. Monthly units stay until you ask, so nobody loses a unit they still need.
Will you send a confirmation?
Yes, a text and email confirmation with your delivery window, quote and a link to manage the order.
Can I add a second on-site contact?
Yes. The driver can text both you and a foreman or event lead.
